Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Systems Integrator to join the dynamic and fast-paced Enterprise Engineering and Architecture Technical Executive (TAE TX) Team, to bring systems integration and architecture expertise in support of NGA's digital transformation priorities to modernize enterprise engineering and integration processes (e.g., Model-based Digital Engineering Implementation and Adoption, Technical Baseline Digitalization and Management, Future State Target Architecture Development and Visualization). Senior Systems Integrators support the Government by leading and overseeing the integrity of the Future State Enterprise Architecture. This Business Enterprise Architecture-focused role will be crucial in bridging the gap between strategic objectives and priorities and technology solutions, accelerating agency business transformation and emerging/ new technology enablement. You will assist the Government in leading and overseeing the planning, implementation approaches, documenting, maintaining, and governing of the Future State EA.

Duties include:

    Assists with leading and performing systems integration activities across the NSG, ASG and Federal Agencies to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT.
  • Assists with leading and overseeing a total systems perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of cloud services, infrastructure, application, and security domains.
  • Provides agile, standardized, and repeatable enterprise architecture process enabling actionable and authoritative artifacts for cross-Agency planning and decision making.
  • Interpret and contextualize strategic priorities for operational needs. Support mission and IT execution by aligning strategic objectives with tactical implementation across budgetary programs/ projects.
  • Lead the development of the Future State Enterprise Architecture and/or re-architecting aspects of existing ones.
  • Facilitate IT strategic planning for the future in a way that transforms the Agency, while making it more efficient. Develop artifacts such as time-based enterprise architecture roadmaps and value streams. The enterprise Architecture Roadmap will document the current and future states at a high-level, along with the transition plan for how the Agency will move from the present to the future in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Perform/facilitate cross-Agency analysis and identification of supplicative capabilities and associated investments, gaps, and transformation opportunities. Map strategy to projects and budget; identify gaps between investment and execution, as well as dependencies and risks between programs/ projects.
  • Establish key performance metrics and best practices for organizational deliverables.
  • Assist with managing enterprise architecture practice and its governance.


Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.
  • 12 years of technical experience is required. If this experience is as a Systems Integrator, it may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 12 years of system integration working experience in government integrating large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments.
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.

Desired:

  • Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages.
  • Knowledge of business capability models, values streams, and enterprise architecture components.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in business transformation.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining business architecture frameworks.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to link organizational strategy with execution.
  • Working knowledge of the NGA GEOINT Architecture across data, applications, technology and services.
  • Expertise in performing complex architecture gap analyses.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
