JOB SUMMARY

The Global Training Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive training programs for the sales force and clinical specialists supporting vascular closure and interventional cardiology products. This role will focus on enhancing sales effectiveness, clinical competency, and competitive differentiation by delivering best-in-class training solutions. The position requires collaboration with sales leadership, marketing, R&D, and medical education teams to drive knowledge retention, field execution, and business growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Training Program Development & Execution

  • Design, develop, and implement training programs for new hires and ongoing education for sales and clinical teams.
  • Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions on product knowledge, procedural techniques, competitive positioning, and sales strategies.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, competency assessments, and certification programs.
  • Facilitate hands-on training, classroom training, and simulation-based learning experiences for vascular closure and interventional cardiology procedures.

Sales & Clinical Competency Development

  • Establish competency benchmarks and track individual progress to ensure sales and clinical teams achieve proficiency.
  • Partner with sales leadership to identify knowledge gaps and create targeted training interventions.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to deliver training for the Interventional Cardiology products (SavvyWire and OptoWire), the Vascular Closure Products (VASCADE MVP, VASCADE MVP XL, VASCADE), and Esophageal Protection Devices (ensoETM)

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Initiatives

  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to ensure training materials align with strategic messaging and competitive positioning.
  • Support product launches by developing and executing go-to-market training initiatives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on vascular closure and/or interventional cardiology, staying updated on clinical trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes.

Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Implement metrics to assess the effectiveness of training programs and adjust strategies based on performance data.
  • Gather feedback from trainees, sales leadership, and customers to refine training content and delivery.
  • Stay informed on emerging educational technologies and adult learning principles to enhance training impact.
  • Play a key role in organizing and delivering a quarterly Plan-Of-Action (POA) so the field team is well equipped with messages, sales tools and marketing programs from the Marketing team and is enabled to use them by you and the field leadership team.

Education Level
Bachelor's degree, Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, nursing or a related field. Required
Advanced clinical training RN, RT, or equivalent experience in interventional procedures) is a plus. Preferred

Experience

7+ years of experience - Sales training, sales management, or clinical education within the medical device industry (vascular closure or interventional cardiology preferred) and electrophysiologist or interventional cardiology nurse or technologist
2+ years with a life science company- Understand how to successfully operate in a matrix organization within the life science industry

Skill Sets
Strong clinical/technical base knowledge. Electrophysiology or interventional cardiology procedures or vascular closure techniques, and competitive market dynamics.
Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive training programs for commercial and clinical teams. Online training, Classroom Training, Product Training Center (PTC) Live Case Observations, webinars
Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
Experience in conducting hands-on procedural training (e.g., proctoring, simulation-based training, Conference support (SIM and Demo)
Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, R&D, and medical education teams.

Strong analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.

Manage administrative tasks related to training (Credentialing Letters, Insurance renewal - sent to team for credentialing annually, GHX & Vendormate registration for entire US Interventional Technologies team, Order Lead for IC team)

Certifications:

Licensed nurse, tech, PA - Preferred

Certified corporate training, adult learning methodologies, or sales enablement is preferred. - Preferred

Travel Expectations: Less than 20%, Candidates preferred in MA or MN.

Physical Demands

Sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

Lifting/moving up to 10 pounds.

Pay Transparency:

The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate's location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles. Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics' employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.

In addition to compensation, the Company offers a competitive suite of benefits to its employees, including without limitation, a 401(k) with up to a 6% employer match and no vesting period, an employee stock purchase plan, "flexible time off" for salaried employees and, for hourly employees, accrual of three to five weeks' vacation annually (based on tenure), accrual of up to 64 hours (annually) of paid sick time, paid and/or floating holidays, parental leave, short- and long-term disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and/or health and welfare benefits.

The base salary range for this role is:

$101,074.94-$136,586.75/Annual
