Job Purpose

Reporting to the Manager, Change Delivery, this key role will support the UNY Remote Methane Detector program providing end to end process management, insightful data analysis and interpretation, workplan forecasting & seamless cross-functional teamwork.This individualwill need to understand the drivers that impact the business, including financial, regulatory, operational, capital, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Accountabilities
  • Overseeing the complete process for the Remote Methane Detector program
  • Forecasting, managing, and executing program tasks to ensure successful program delivery
  • Coordinating schedules and activities to meet regulatory requirements, budget constraints, work performance standards, productivity metrics, and customer expectations
  • Executing inventory intake and collaborating logistics with warehousing facility and install contractor
  • Reviewing invoices for accuracy related to the program
  • Assisting with change management related to alarm detection
  • Collaborating with the leadership team to identify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements
  • Fostering strong working relationships with colleagues to ensure consistent operational performance support, particularly in areas such as policy, strategy, and information systems.
  • Staying informed about regulatory changes in the energy industry to optimize best practices for Remote Methane Detectors
  • Providing technical guidance, support, and coaching to enhance knowledge and technical understanding within the discipline
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders to share best practices and guarantee timely project delivery
  • Challenging current practices and continuously seeking improved methods to enhance work efficiency
    Technical/Interpersonal Experience
    • Ability to analyze and document business processes for automation opportunities
    • Knowledge of integrating RPA solutions with other applications and systems (Ex: APIs, databases)
    • Skills in implementing error handling and logging mechanisms in RPA workflows.
    • Proficient in testing RPA solutions to ensure reliability and performance
    • Understanding of change management processes to handle updates and modifications in automated workflows
    • Ability to effectively communicate with Key Stakeholders on process change
    • Ability to write scripts for automating tasks and processes, including file handling and data extraction
    • Experience in working with APIs and web services for data retrieval and integration
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum of 1 years of work experience in Analytical and/or Project Management experience
    • Proficient in Office 365 programs such Excel, Word, Outlook
    • Knowledge of National Grid policies and processes and how to apply them effectively
    • Experience of managing project teams and projects independently
    • Experience with forecasting workplans preferred
    • A valid driver's license is required

    Upstate NY Salary: $95,000 - $112,000 a year

    This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
