Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Testing Coordinator for a 6 month contract role with our client in Minneapolis, MN.

This role is hybrid-onsite 2-3 days per week.


Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Information Technology (IT) Testing Coordinator with 1-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing, managing, and overseeing software and/or hardware testing activities to ensure the highest quality of our products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage testing schedules and activities across multiple projects.
  • Provide support to SMEs on the creation of test cases and test suites.
  • Ensure proper test documentation, including test case creation, test execution results, and defect tracking.
  • Monitor and follow-up on testing progress and defect resolution.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
  • Prepare comprehensive test reports and documentation.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Train and mentor testing resources on testing procedures and best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance on testing best practices to team members and business users.
  • Provide training and guidance on testing tool use to team members and business users.
  • This position follows a hybrid work schedule and requires onsite presence 2-3 days per week.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with one or more testing tools and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Tricentis qTest.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.


Compensation:

Hourly W2 pay rate $45.00-55.00/Hr.

We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
