Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Testing Coordinator for a 6 month contract role with our client in Minneapolis, MN. This role is hybrid-onsite 2-3 days per week. Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Information Technology (IT) Testing Coordinator with 1-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing, managing, and overseeing software and/or hardware testing activities to ensure the highest quality of our products and services. Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage testing schedules and activities across multiple projects. Provide support to SMEs on the creation of test cases and test suites. Ensure proper test documentation, including test case creation, test execution results, and defect tracking. Monitor and follow-up on testing progress and defect resolution. Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability. Prepare comprehensive test reports and documentation. Assist in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. Train and mentor testing resources on testing procedures and best practices. Provide training and guidance on testing best practices to team members and business users. Provide training and guidance on testing tool use to team members and business users. This position follows a hybrid work schedule and requires onsite presence 2-3 days per week. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance. Familiarity with one or more testing tools and methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Tricentis qTest. Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies. Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $45.00-55.00/Hr.
