Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Operations Engineer for a 12 month contract role with our client in the financial industry in Minneapolis, MN. This role is hybrid-primarily in office. Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to install, configure, and maintain Meraki equipment across US office locations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of network systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities: Communicate with feet-on-the-street technicians to install and configure Meraki network equipment including routers and wireless access points Troubleshoot network issues related to Meraki equipment and provide timely resolutions. Monitor network performance using Meraki Dashboard and other tools; implement necessary adjustments for optimal performance. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Meraki solutions with existing infrastructure. Provide technical support for end-users experiencing connectivity issues. Document installation processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference. Stay updated on the latest developments in Meraki technology and best practices. Work with non-technical local site contacts to perform basic testing and ensure proper functionality of installed equipment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate - CCNA) are a plus. Proven experience with installing and managing Cisco Meraki products in an enterprise environment. Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP/DNS configuration. Proficiency in using the Meraki Dashboard for monitoring and management purposes. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex network issues quickly. Strong communication skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-tech stakeholders. *There will be some early evening work required for this role as part of the project being delivered. On those days, the schedule will be flexible (11am-7pm) but normal schedule would be 9am-5pm. No weekend or holiday work expected per the project schedule. Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $55.00-62.00/Hr. We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
