RN - OR - Ambulatory Surgery - Part Time - Oceanside

This is a benefited, Part time, 10-hour OR RN position starting at 0645 located in Oceanside. This position is eligible for New Hire Incentives up to $2K. It is preferred for training to be full time, but can also do training part time.

Scripps Medical Center Jefferson is Scripps' largest North County outpatient health center in the city of Oceanside.

The new 85,915-square-foot, three-story site is designed as a one-stop-shop for patients, with a wide range of outpatient services including primary care, cardiology, neurology, obstetrics/gynecology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics and pediatrics, along with comprehensive imaging, outpatient surgery, urgent care and same-day walk-in care through Scripps HealthExpress.

Join our new surgery center as RN Specialized Services - OR where you will support 4 OR suites and 2 GIs. You will circulate and/or scrub a variety of surgical procedures including general surgery, ortho, GI, GYN, ENT, or Urology. You also will assist with the flow of the daily surgical schedule and be charged with preparing the surgical room according to surgeons' preferences and surgical procedures.

Additionally, you will collaborate with the surgical team, including pre-op and PACU to ensure the best plan of care for patients.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Required Certification/Registration:

• Current CA license
• Current America Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certificate and ACLS
• Completion of accredited RN program.
• One year applicable (OR) clinical experience

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

• Two years inpatient or outpatient RN experience in surgical services with well rounded experience circulating and/or scrubbing in several service lines
