Purpose of the Role As a Commissioning Manager at Worley, you will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of commissioning and start-up activities on major projects, ensuring a seamless and safe transition from construction to operations. You will play a vital role in delivering Worley's promise of sustainable transformation by ensuring that all systems are operational, compliant, and aligned with client and regulatory expectations. This role supports the broader objective of helping our customers meet today's energy and resources demands while transitioning toward more sustainable operations. The Commissioning Manager will guide multidisciplinary teams through structured handover processes using Worley's Completions Framework, driving integrated, data-centric, and risk-informed commissioning practices that align with our commitment to sustainable change. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Commissioning and Completions Plan aligned with project scope, schedule, budget, and safety requirements.
- Oversee the definition and scoping of systems and subsystems for turnover and handover, ensuring compliance with mechanical completion and commissioning standards.
- Ensure implementation of the Completions Management Plan, including safety during transition, inspection test records, interface management, and risk mitigation measures.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Construction, and Project Management teams to ensure engineering deliverables and construction activities meet commissioning requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure availability of resources, spares, documentation, and training materials required for commissioning phases.
- Manage the development and application of system testing procedures and specialty cleaning plans, preserving system integrity and ensuring operational readiness.
- Oversee the integration and use of completions management systems, ensuring transparency, traceability, and data-driven progress tracking throughout all commissioning phases.
- Lead daily and weekly coordination meetings to monitor progress, resolve issues, and communicate status to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Maintain effective working relationships with Statutory Authorities and ensure all startup-related regulatory and compliance measures are in place.
- Support client teams throughout the process commissioning phase, offering technical leadership and operational insights to ensure a smooth transition to full operations.
- Uphold Worley's standards of sustainable delivery, with an emphasis on minimizing risk to personnel, environment, plant, and project outcomes.

Qualifications / Skillset
- A degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent trade qualifications supported by extensive relevant training and experience.
- A minimum of ten years of progressive experience in commissioning, start-up, and completions within complex facilities, including leadership roles on major capital projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and interface with a wide range of stakeholders, from construction and engineering to vendors and regulators.
- Deep understanding of commissioning and completions frameworks, workflows, and procedures in the energy, chemicals, or resources sectors.
- Proven experience using completions management systems (databases) and familiarity with digital tools that support engineering, operations, and reporting functions.
- Knowledge of contract structures (EPC, EPCM, Works Contracts) and ability to interpret terms and conditions relevant to completions and commissioning.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts effectively in dynamic project environments.
- Experience with LNG facilities or similar process-intensive installations is considered a significant advantage.
- A clear, logical thinker capable of breaking down complex processes into manageable, actionable tasks.
