Position: Japanese Bilingual International Logistics Coordinator

Location: Rancho Dominguez, CA (Onsite)

Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time, Direct Hire

Overview:

An international logistics company in Rancho Dominguez, CA is seeking a Japanese Bilingual Logistics Coordinator to handle documentation and customs clearance for shipments while ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. Logistics experience is preferred but not required.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Serve as the main liaison for customers, vendors, overseas offices, and agents regarding all shipment-related matters.

Prepare, verify, and manage export documentation to ensure compliance and timely processing.

Deliver responsive and professional customer service, and escalate complex issues to the Supervisor when necessary.

Coordinate and manage shipping details, including export licenses, customs declarations, and routing instructions.

Track and monitor shipment status, and proactively communicate updates to clients and relevant parties.

Support the resolution of service issues, including those related to billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Perform additional administrative or operational tasks as assigned to support the logistics team.

Qualifications:

Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English is required.

Experience in logistics is a strong plus.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in relevant computer applications.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
