ARES Corporation is looking for Configuration Management Specialists to support the Human Health and Performance (HHP) directorate at the NASA Johnson Space Center. This position will be responsible for the following functions.
  • Establish, implement, and verify compliance to NASA document and configuration management policies, requirements, and procedures.
  • Prepare documentation per confirmation management standards.
  • Establish and maintain all systems for configuration identification, control, verification, and accounting.
  • Maintain a SharePoint document library in accordance with document and configuration management standards.
  • Support the implementation of the HH&P change process.
  • Provide CM support for HHP sanctioned boards and panels and produce minutes resulting from these meetings.
  • Process Change through various HHP sanctioned boards to revise documents.
  • Maintain the HHP Document Library Receipt Desk.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and able to effectively work with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Windows, MS Word, SharePoint, Excel & PowerPoint programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of NASA Configuration Management Guidelines, principles, and processes.

Education and Relevant Work Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED required w/5+ years of professional work experience.
