Overview

Woolpert is hiring an ERP Developer who is a Microsoft Dynamics 365 technical practitioner with a wide range of tools and techniques, along with experience in deploying them in a range of contexts. This role is focused on maintaining and further developing an environment that supports the business needs of its stakeholders. This role possesses refined interpersonal skills and can work under minimal supervision.

Essential Functions

As an ERP Developer at Woolpert, you will:

    Build relationships with stakeholders to understand business issues.
  • Build relationships with external consultants to help with business issues.
  • Assist with discovery, capturing requirements in line with business needs, and facilitating defining and delivering appropriate solutions to meet those requirements.
  • Participate in solution discussions with the business to provide development and configuration input
  • Work cross-functionally to create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Assists with configuring workflows, dashboards, forms, views, and build standard or custom reports.
  • Ensures that good D365 development practices and software development life cycle methodologies are adhered to in development
  • Assists with design, build, implement, and integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365/F&O solutions with other systems
  • Execute technical requirements in line with approved, documented enhancements.
  • Maintain awareness of new ERP technology and features
  • Assists with the assessment and management of software updates and ongoing maintenance.

Data Stewardship and Oversight

  • Be able to identify questions such as: What data do we have? Where is the data? What is the quality of the data? Who owns the data? Who is responsible for each step of the data journey from start to finish? What happened to the data as it transitioned from raw to insightful?

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience working as part of a team, assisting with system integration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related technical development work
  • Understanding of best practices for common ITIL processes (e.g., release, problem, transition)
  • Demonstrates increasing levels of ownership and accountability for results in the workplace.
  • Demonstrates increasing levels of positive impact with colleagues, clients, partners, managers, leaders, and the company.
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform work that is increasingly more complex, scale and impact of issues, opportunities, tasks, and processes.
  • Demonstrates increasing skills and positive behaviors that effectively work with the required level of impact in the company.
  • Demonstrates increasing responsibility for developing and applying knowledge to achieve individual and organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and business workflows.
  • 2+ years of experience in Dynamics 365
  • Experience with coding X++
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio development system
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database and Reporting Services
  • Experience with ERP functionality
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent.
