STV is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Systems and Security department at our New York City, NY and Philadelphia, PA offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, integration, and implementation of complex rail and transit systems including communications, signals, and SCADA.

  • Oversee system engineering activities across project lifecycles including requirements analysis, interface management, and testing.

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure technical consistency and system compatibility.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.

  • Support client coordination, proposal development, and project management tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in systems engineering for transit or rail infrastructure projects.

  • Proven experience with systems integration, verification and validation, and interface control.

  • Familiarity with industry standards such as CENELEC, IEEE, and AREMA.

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.

Compensation Range:

$143,684.68 - $191,579.57
