Overview: The SVP, Partners and Alliances will define and execute strategies to expand and establish partnership opportunities that drive revenue streams while creating a connected and retentive ecosystem. The value driven ecosystem is centered on connecting providers, payers, patients, and partners to improve care delivery and unlock new value across the healthcare landscape.

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Senior Vice President to collaborate cross-functionally with executive leadership while leading a team centered on partner acquisition and expansion, connectivity, and solution integration design. This leader will play a critical role in shaping how we integrate with external partners, systems, and platforms, including EHRs, payers, third-party vendors, and emerging digital health solutions. As the leader of a cross-functional team, this individual will need to exemplify strong business acumen and ability in managing key performance indicators (KPIs) that span financial models and profitability, solution workflow and design, client satisfaction, and technical integration standards.

The leader will have a successful track record as a recognized Alliances and Partner leader that will drive thought leadership and a partner-focused mindset throughout the organization and develop and grow strategic relationships with external partners. This individual will set and influence the culture to achieve best in class experiences across the footprint of customers, partners and employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  1. Strategy Development: Collaborate with Provider Senior Leadership Team to define and lead our alliance and partnership strategy aligned with business growth and innovation goals.
  2. Cross Functional Leadership: Work across the Provider organization and Inovalon (as relevant) to successfully execute partner growth strategies while providing strategic input to executive leadership on partnership strategy, performance, opportunities, ecosystem design, and product alignment.
  3. Ecosystem Creation: Expand and nurture a differentiated partner ecosystem that enhances product stickiness and customer value.
  4. Revenue Growth and Financial Management: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that exponentially increase revenue streams, market access, and product capabilities, while delivering against business goals of profitability.
  5. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and drive performance of a team of professionals focused on partner acquisition and expansion, connectively and partner product management. Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
  6. Partner Management: Establish governance, joint business planning, and performance tracking for key alliances. Ensure successful execution of partnership agreements.
  7. Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in healthcare to inform organizational strategies and priorities.
  8. Relationship Management: builds and maintains strong relationships with c-suite and executives at partner and alliance organizations.
  9. Analytical Thinking / Data Analysis: ability to develop, track, and analyze partner-specific KPIs to drive performance and identify opportunities.
  10. Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures and mission statement.
  11. Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and
  12. Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.


Job Requirements:



  • 15+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or corporate strategy within the healthcare or health tech industry.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience leading sales/alliances/strategic partnerships teams.
  • At least 10+ years of relevant work experience with demonstrable accomplishments in developing and executing a growth strategy, driving operational efficiencies and revenue goal attainment.
  • Proven track record of developing and scaling successful partnership ecosystems.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading teams.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare business models, including providers, payers, digital health, and value-based care.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.


Education:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience;
  • Master's degree is preferred.


Physical Demands and Work Environment:



  • Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time);
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;
  • Frequently or constantly lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions; and
  • Travel for this position will be 45%.



Inovalon Offers a Competitive Salary and Benefits Package

In addition to the base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Base Compensation Range
$297,106 $350,000 USD
