- Estimated hourly pay: $20.77(minimum) - $25.96(midpoint) - $31.15(maximum) Plus shift differential and overtime IF APPLICABLE
LEVEL II:
- Estimated hourly pay: $25.27(minimum) - $31.59(midpoint) - $37.91(maximum) Plus shift differential and overtime IF APPLICABLE

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Supplier Quality Technician, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Supplier Quality Tech (SQT) supports the Supplier Quality Engineering group through processing First Article Inspection (FAI) and Supplier Part Approval Process (SPAP) submissions, selective receiving inspection, analysis and processing of internal NCR material and other administrative and logistical support duties. What You Will Be Doing Level I
- Processing First Article Inspection documents, Production Part Approval Plans (PPAP) and material certification submissions from suppliers accurately and timely including handling and analysis of parts and/or supporting documentation; completing maintaining associated records and logs; communicating submission status as needed to SQEs, supplier managers, engineers, suppliers, and product family members.
- Conducting selective receiving inspection under the direction of the SQE group including inspection of material, participating in work in-process sorts of potentially nonconforming material, completing and maintaining related documentation, communication of inspection results to concerned parties and processing of material after inspection through the WISE system
- General support of SQEs including supplier communication, Supplier Corrective Action Request processing, product evaluation and sorting activities, and interfacing with Woodward members and internal/external processes and systems as necessary to complete assigned tasks
Level II:
- Processing First Article Inspection documents, Production Part Approval Plans (PPAP) and material certification submissions from suppliers accurately and timely including handling and analysis of parts and/or supporting documentation; completing maintaining associated records and logs; communicating submission status as needed to SQEs, supplier managers, engineers, suppliers, and product family members
- Processing internal and external nonconforming material as needed in support of SQE including retrieval and analysis of material, interpretation of preliminary findings and restatement of problem statements to ensure supplier understanding of problem, processing material through the necessary WISE screens, communication of status to concerned parties, maintaining necessary documentation and processing material to suppliers or scrap
- General support of SQEs including supplier communication, Supplier Corrective Action Request processing, product evaluation and sorting activities, and interfacing with Woodward members and internal/external processes and systems as necessary to complete assigned tasks. May include travel to key suppliers to assist in providing direction and oversight at the direction of the SQEs.
What We Are Looking For Level I
- US High School Diploma
- 2-5 years of experience in mechanical inspections, machining and/or electrical component and assembly inspection required
- Knowledge of Six Sigma tools and processes
Level II:
- US High School Diploma
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical inspections, machining and/or electrical component and assembly inspection required
- Green Belt Certification preferred
