The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for a Sr. Information Assurance Team Lead to support our government customer primarily located in the National Capital Region, (Washington, D.C. and/or Germanton, MD.)

Functional support will also include locations in: Albuquerque NM and Las Vegas, NV

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the team of SMEs assigned to Information Assurance activities.

  • Provide management support, focusing on the Information System Security Officers, and the Information System Security Manager and Authorizing Official Designated Representative resource allocation and management.

  • Assist in the developing and maintaining accurate cybersecurity documentation such as information system security plans (ISSPs), security baselines, risk assessment and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M).

  • Ensure that systems are in compliance with Federal requirements and government baselines, in accordance with NA-IM cybersecurity policies.

  • Perform continuous skill development in technical cybersecurity range services for a minimum of 20 hours per month.

  • Formal business attire is required.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Must obtain and maintain DOE derivative classifier certifications.

  • Must have a professional certification as listed in DoD 8140 such as a CISM or CISSP certification or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire or contract start.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have prior experience leading cybersecurity teams, preferably Information Assurance teams.

  • Must have a high capability to document, organize, communicate, assess, and review internal processes that are subject to federal requirements, contractual obligations, and external audits.

  • Must have the ability to ensure that the day-to-day operations are conducted in a manner that supports the NNSA OCIO and Federal stakeholders.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

  • Must be a Born or Naturalized U.S. Citizen. For the purposes of this work effort, Green Card or Visa holders are not eligible.

  • Top Secret and/or Q Clearance is required
