Assistant Director of Pharmacy Operations - Hamilton, NJ

Job Overview:

The Assistant Director of Pharmacy Operations manages the daily operation of the Pharmacy Department Functions and Staff to ensure patients receive their medication therapies in a safe and timely manner in compliance with institutional and regulatory policies and procedures. The Assistant Director of Pharmacy Operations continuously works to develop and maintain skills necessary to ensure the department's regulatory compliance with all state and federal statutes. The Assistant Director supports the Director of Pharmacy in the acquisition and surveillance of controlled dangerous substances CDS for the institution in accordance with regulatory requirements, hospital and system committees, personnel recruitment, performance appraisals, staffing coverage as necessary, and is the designated person for USP 795 compliance.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy/ PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and

Preferred:

• 1-3 years of Management experience
• Board Certification

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Registered Pharmacist with a current license in the state of New Jersey
• Current NJ State Pharmacy License with the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs

Scheduling Requirements:

• Shift working, 8:30am - 5:00pm
• Monday - Friday
• Full-Time
