Description Acara Solutions has been providing aerospace manufacturing firms across the U.S. with our engineering and professional staffing services for over 60 years. Our aerospace client in Everett, WA (not Boeing) is looking for a Sales Engineer to join their organization as a direct salaried employee. The base salary range is $120K - $130K+ and there is a performance bonus.
Key requirements include an
engineering education and background along with strong people skills and communication, and the desire to grow with the organization. This organization has multiple promotional opportunities for their sales employees. The candidate must have a strong desire to grow within the plant and potentially within their large parent organization with dozens of locations in the U.S.
This is a global sales position (Europe, Middle East, Asia, S. America) expecting travel up to 70% of the time. Otherwise it's an
onsite position in Everett.
The Sales Engineer will interface with customers, including assigned key accounts, as well as internal staff to develop and grow the assigned business. You will be responsible for acting as the customers' primary point of contact and will oversee and report new product requirements, track negotiations, report orders entered and lost, develop accurate monthly forecasts and report market trends in a timely and efficient manner.
Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (or similar technical degree)
Min 3 years of aerospace sales experience (traditional metal machine shop and/or electronics) that includes a proven record of revenue growth, and a strong knowledge of aerospace industry regulations, operational norms and requirements.
This is a ITAR facility, U.S. Persons required (Green Card ok)
