Description The Consumer Lending Pricing Analyst manages the pricing strategy for the consumer lending division. This position will partner closely with acquisitions management, product managers, business analytics, capital markets, and product line leaders to ensure a strategic balance between growth and revenue. Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful: Job Duties: Analyze and interpret data as it relates to market factors, competitor information and credit union objectives and make recommendations to leadership Assess, rationalize, design and report success metrics/KPIs for multiple departments within Consumer Lending, as well as cross functional leadership committees as needed Perform analysis of market data, competitor data, and internal data in order identify actionable insights to lead optimization discussions and comparative review Uncover actionable insights for increased product/portfolio performance on a reciprocal continuum throughout the year Create regular and ad-hoc reports by querying relational databases Create and manipulate dashboards and reports for leadership while maintaining appropriate documentation Gather, understand, and document business requirements from internal/external partners Performs ongoing analysis to enhance revenues and mitigate losses for the credit union Participate in cross-functional projects and strategic planning sessions Essential Skills: Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Quantitative Methods or a similarly applicable discipline Minimum 1 year experience in an analytical role including querying relational databases and advanced reporting methodologies; inclusive of experience operating in a pricing function with a heavy focus on trade-off and/or offset analysis, competitive intelligence, and ROA modeling Minimum 1 year writing and manipulating R/Python or other similar coding language Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve complex issues with minimal direction Ability to work autonomously, to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlines Ability to prepare clear and concise reports and documentation Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels Ability to translate needs of users and external entities into practical projects, tasks or reports Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to express ideas concisely and logically Proficiency with visual reporting tools (such as Tableau, MS Power BI) is preferred Proficient SQL skills (such as MS SQL, Oracle, Sybase) Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Certification/License: SQL or Tableau certification preferred Location: Hillsboro Corporate Office - Hillsboro OR 97124 Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR: $75,000 to $90,000annually + annual bonus Benefits options include: Traditional medical, dental, and vision coverage 401K matching up to 5% per pay period Accrue up to 17 days of Paid Time Off your first year of employment 11 paid federal holidays Special employee pricing on lending products such as mortgage, auto, and personal loans (eligibility for special employee pricing is subject to standard account requirements and underwriting criteria) What makes First Tech different?
