A Day in the Life: The Key Account Specialist position at Bunge combines customer relationship management with contract administration and order fulfillment. This working leader will proactively manage customer relationships, focusing on providing excellent customer experiences. Acting as an advocate for both the customer and Bunge, this role ensures customer needs are met efficiently and profitably. Responsibilities include total contract management for food ingredient accounts, collaborating with internal teams (sales, product management, marketing, R&D, and pricing), and maintaining accurate price data for contracts, orders, and invoices. Additionally, the Key Account Specialist will manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring order accuracy and on-time delivery, supporting portfolio demands by coordinating shipment and order changes, and serving as the main point of contact between the customer and internal Bunge teams. This position requires a hyper customer-centric outlook, using knowledge of the company, products, and offerings to provide the highest level of customer experience. What You'll Be Doing: Customer Relationship Management & Order Fulfillment: * Building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact and liaison between the customer and internal Bunge teams. * Proactively managing the customer experience, conducting regular check-ins, monitoring satisfaction levels, and promptly addressing complaints logged in the CRM system. * Managing orders for assigned accounts, ensuring accuracy, on-time delivery, and managing order changes based on inventory, delivery windows, and customer fill rate requirements. * Monitoring customer order quantities, buying habits, and satisfaction with products, policies, and shipments, and advising Sales & Marketing management of detected changes. * Collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure seamless customer transitions. * Assisting the Customer Service Supervisor with escalations and resolving operational and customer issues. Contract Management and Pricing: * Performing total contract management, including quoting and pricing within established margin goals, system entry, and timely contract balance reporting. * Maintaining a thorough understanding of contracting policies and procedures. * Managing contract drag, including running and distributing reports, rolling contracts forward with appropriate charges, and monitoring contracts to ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory management. * Monitoring auto-quotes, validating published prices, and assessing customer acceptance. * Maintaining price targets and price lists in the system, tracking validity periods for all customer accounts and segments. * Updating pricing sheets according to Price Management targets and validity periods. * Ensuring adherence to price policy and procedures, obtaining necessary approvals for price deviations. * Investigating and resolving price discrepancies, demonstrating a clear understanding of price structures, margins, and costs within the SAP pricing routine. * Running and monitoring daily order and contract audit reports, identifying and resolving input errors or data gaps impacting accurate customer pricing. * Responding to basic quote and price inquiries. * Understanding Bunge's supply chain and operational objectives in relation to sales forecasts and capacity constraints. * Supporting RFP (Request for Proposal) processes as needed. * Contributing to the provision of Total Quality Service to customers, sales, customer service teams, and plant operations. Travel and Other Duties: * Traveling to Bunge facilities and customer meetings as necessary. Skill/Experience Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent required * Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Marketing preferred * Strong analytical, mathematical, verbal and written communication skills. Proficient organizational skills, especially time management. Familiarity with CBOT exchange and fundamentals of futures and basis trading. * One to three years previous customer service experience with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships, previous sales experience is a plus.
