Must be in Centerville High School's BioTech Program.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Assists and performs limited microbiology functions. In accordance with standard operating procedures, follows all applicable regulatory standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Assists and may perform the following basic duties in the microbiology lab:

• Pull discard tubes
• Daily temperatures/CO2 readings
• Performs weekly eye wash/shower maintenance
• Performs weekly hood QC
• File paperwork
• Clean lab spaces
• Organize and restock lab supplies
• MicroCheck tube discard

2. Complete Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) review in a timely fashion. Either prior to implementation or before you begin to work after the implementation date of any SOP or policy.

3. Performs other duties as assigned.
