- Assist in the maintenance of scalable SAP systems.
- Support the prototyping of new SAP landscapes to meet evolving business and technical requirements.
- Contribute to efforts to transition towards S/4HANA and other SAP innovations.
- Develop in-house solutions under supervision.
- Provide technical support to mid-level and senior consultants.
- Participate in design sessions and configuration reviews.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of SAP applications.
- Identify and address bottlenecks and bugs, devising solutions to mitigate these issues.
- Implement testing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Stay updated with emerging SAP technologies and industry trends.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the software lifecycle to solve complex problems.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within SAP teams.
Basic Qualifications:
- I am CURRENTLY authorized to work in the US.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2+ years of experience working as an SAP techno-functional consultant, with a focus on S/4HANA implementation and support.
- Techno-functional expertise and hands-on experience in at least 2 SAP modules such as SAP Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Plant Maintenance (PM), Project Systems (PS), Fixed Assets, Human Capital Management (SuccessFactors) HCM, etc.
- Engineer and configure time management processes, including work schedules, absences, and attendances.
- Develop and maintain payroll schemas and Personnel Control Rules to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and optimize payroll processing efficiency.
- Design and configure Revenue Management processes, including revenue recognition models, rating, billing, partner settlement, payables, collections, and financial reporting.
- Experience in SAP implementation projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Expertise in SAP ABAP, Java, and HANA/AMDP coding.
- Proficient in using testing automation tools and frameworks, including SAP Solution Document and Test suite, TBOMs, and Worksoft.
- Knowledge of SAP Technical components, including ABAP, HANA, BTP, UI5, and PI.
- Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Understanding of S/4HANA functionality, best practices, and integration with other SAP modules or third-party systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues and provide innovative solutions.
- Ability to mentor and coach junior consultants, share knowledge, and contribute to the continuous improvement of SAP practices within the organization.
- Experience working in Railroad or any Transportation, Supply Chain industries and understanding of industry-specific SAP solutions and requirements.
- Analyzes and understands the current business process and workflows to identify gaps and provides solutions to meet business requirements.
- Participating in the evaluation and selection of new SAP technologies and tools.
- Providing recommendations for process improvements and best practices in SAP implementation.
- Keeping up to date with the latest SAP trends and developments to ensure the organization stays competitive.
