Summary Description:

Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining high-quality standards in paper and packaging production. This position focuses on understanding customer needs, addressing concerns, and driving continuous improvement to enhance product quality and service excellence.

Qualifications

Key Accountabilities:

Customer-Centric Quality Assurance:

  • Act as the primary liaison for customer quality concerns and inquiries.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures that align with customer expectations.
  • Investigate complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Process Improvement & Compliance:

  • Collaborate with production teams to enhance product consistency and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, and industry regulations to meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to maintain high-quality standards.

Customer Engagement & Communication:

  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Provide proactive solutions to prevent quality issues before they arise.
  • Lead customer visits, audits, and quality discussions to strengthen relationships.

Team Leadership & Training:

  • Train employees on customer-focused quality standards and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer-first thinking.
  • Lead a team composed of quality engineer, inspectors and technicians to ensure excellence.
Personal qualities

Required Experience and Education:

Minimum Required Experience and Education:

  • BS in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality management within the paper or packaging industry.

Required skills:

Minimum Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities with a customer-first mindset.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Manager).
