In this role, you will develop standards and best practices for MES implementation and maintenance, ensuring consistent and effective performance. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership to MES Engineers guiding them towards success. As a MES Technical Manager, you will leverage your strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills along with exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to drive team success.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering plus 8 years of Engineering experience, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility, which may include Gallo TMDP or OMDP experience: OR, Bachelor of Science Degree plus 10 years of Engineering experience, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR, Master's Degree in Engineering plus 6 years of Engineering experience, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility, which may include Gallo TMDP or OMDP experience; OR, PhD of Engineering plus 4 years of Engineering experience, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR, High School Diploma plus 12 years of Engineering experience, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Understands Basic Engineering and can follow standard work to achieve goals.
  • May be required to travel at least 25% of the time, domestically, for project meetings at site or vendor offices, construction oversight, start-up management, clear communication with site, project continuity and effective project leadership.
  • May be required to travel up to 5% of the time, internationally, for Factory Acceptance Testing and meetings at vendor offices.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering,
  • Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Science, Bio-Systems Engineering,
  • Environmental Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience in a product development, concept development, cost estimating or a combination of these.
  • Experience effectively presenting information to top management.
  • Skilled in the use of MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint at an intermediate level.
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.

  • Demonstrated expertise with eight or more years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • CPG Manufacturing Systems (Filling, Labeling, Packaging, etc.)
    • Data Systems (SQL, Trending, Reporting, Visualization)
    • Control Systems (Rockwell, SCADA, PLC, Instrumentation)

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $133,900 - $200,900 / year
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
