The Product Owner for Wendy's Canada digital products works cross-functionally to bridge the gap between business needs and digital solutions. This role will work closely with multiple Squad teams, IT Engineering & QA, Operations, Marketing, and other stakeholders to analyze, document, and improve digital platforms, integrations, and workflows as well as support the launch of new functionalities and capabilities within the Canadian Market. The role will ensure projects are delivered on-time and budget, define technical requirements and use cases, and partner with US product owners to adapt changes for the Candian market across all digital products. You will influence and champion the Canadian business by helping to scope and roadmap across platforms such as websites, loyalty, kiosk and delivery. A successful candidate in this role will demonstrate strong leadership, prioritization, stakeholder management and communication skills to consistently deliver outstanding results. ResponsibilitiesResponsible for market, business case, and competitive analysis related to Wendy's Canada digital products. Champion the design and delivery of digital experiences that are both personal and delightful for our customers within Canada. Understands business strategy and clarifies customer objectives. Work closely with US Digital Squad team to localize solutions to the Canadian market Act as a subject matter expert on key digital platforms (platform capabilities, proper functioning and seamless integrations). Establishes and follows processes for alignment with key stakeholders and priorities. Partner with US Product and Squad teams to support digital products and feature enhancements and implementation Be a point of contact for Franchisees navigating through questions and support tickets across digital platforms Loyalty and CRM platform SME - supporting offer building, platform capabilities, data integration flow between platforms. Manages Deeplinking and analytics. Ongoing analysis of data trends, platform & program performance, and user behavior Shares regular feedback and follow up with business partners. Supporting a cross functional team with Digital Menu. Ensure menu hierarchy, imagery, pricing, and naming are consistent across app, kiosk, and digital menu boards. Coordinate with brand, operations, and IT to reflect core menu and LTOs accurately and on time. Leads Delivery Integration - working directly with vendor partners to manage delivery menu management, new restaurant launch process, delivery improvements and special projects. Coordinate weekly status calls Understands business strategy and clarifies customer objectives. Articulate, translate and communicate the vision and strategy effectively to key stakeholders, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and squads. Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Provides input and insight into the overall strategic roadmap for assigned products Determine appropriate prioritization and decomposition of product initiatives/enhancements in line with Wendy's organizational goals and agile framework Approves final iteration plan for assigned products. Evaluates and approves User Stories for consideration in the PI process Provides input on IT vendor partners to ensure effective service delivery Definition of done What we expect from you Education: Bachelors Degree
Additional education information (major, etc.): Technology, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience. 6+ years of experience working on cross-functional teams with a proven history of achieving business results. 4+ years of experience working with a variety of digital technology, reflected in a thorough understanding of the digital space. Experience in a project manager role for enterprise-wide projects, preferably for a consumer-facing brand. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to build relationships and align stakeholders with competing interests. Proven prioritization and organization skills. The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. * The target annual bonus for this role is XX% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
