Job Responsibility Performs technical tests and experiments for process engineering within R&D. Performs set up of processing equipment. Monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators. Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products. Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel. Here's what you will receive: Pay: $38.32/hr.(includes shift differential) Duration: 1-year contract Schedule: Days \| M-F Hours: 6am - 2:30pm Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Associate's Degree in electronics, material science, chemistry, physics 3+ years' experience in the semiconductor industry, building and troubleshooting Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Operate computer interface and navigate diagnostic software Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) Effectively read, write, and communicate with others in English Ability to work shifts in a clean room environment wearing PPE (bunny suit, safety glasses, masks, shields, gloves, safety footwear) if needed Preferred cleanroom or general lab experience related to the semiconductor industry, plasma or wet etching Preferred experience with thin film/semiconductor sample preparation, SEM imaging, and microscopy work A genuine interest in advanced technology and an ongoing desire to learn consistently demonstrates the ability to be flexible and responsive to changing priorities (ex., rework, overtime) If you are interested in this Process Technician role in Fremont, CA click APPLY NOW.
