As a Security Professional - Government Patrols in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors, and maintaining open communication with staff and the public. You will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. This role requires agility and reliability as you contribute to a secure environment through your presence and proactive approach.

Pay Rate: $24.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the location.
• Support emergency response activities according to established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
• Completion of Maritime Security Training (MTSA MARSEC) is required and may be completed post hire.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
