Security Professional - Logistics Patrol

As a Security Professional - Logistics Patrol in Blauvelt, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with staff and visitors, and providing excellent customer service and communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by upholding our values of agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and working collaboratively with your team. Your attention to detail and commitment to integrity will support a secure and welcoming atmosphere for everyone on site.

Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Carry out screening procedures and follow site-specific policies at logistics and distribution locations.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors as they enter and exit the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and security-related incidents.
• Document and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents according to established protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following location-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• New York Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
