Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital opened on Jan. 24, 1955, as a 238-bed community hospital. Today, the hospital is a 1,101-bed major academic and referral center withLevel I adult traumaandLevel II pediatric traumadesignations. Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital has 43 residency and fellowship programs with 454 residents and fellows. Corewell is the exclusive clinical partner of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, with more than 1,400 Beaumont doctors on faculty.

Scope of Work

Plans and develops MRI modality orientation and training programs and is directly involved in the assessment process. Develops new strategies for revenue/research opportunities in the MRI modality. In collaboration with radiology/cardiovascular management and the education department, facilitates continuous improvement processes and assess modality employee educational needs and requirements. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure when required. Provides education for research to physicians and employees in operation of medical equipment and protocols as needed. Also, acts as a liaison to ancillary areas involved or those areas that would benefit in terms of cardiovascular research.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent. Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
  • 5 years of relevant clinical experience required
  • 3 years of relevant experience modality specific.
  • Previous training and/or education experience preferred.
  • Supervisory or lead technologist role experience preferred.
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
  • CRT-American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (MRI) - ARMRIT American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists Certification Upon Hire Required Or
  • CRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification Upon Hire Required Or
