Description

    Providing network engineering, test and evaluation, training, technical documentation, and cyber security services for the SCI Comms family of systems
  • Traveling to various USMC installations for technical and/or training support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in networking, computer sciences, information technology, or other IT-related discipline and 2 years of experience
    • Authorized degree substitutions:
      • Associate degree and 4 years of experience
      • HS diploma and 7 years of experience
  • Experience providing network engineering and/or network administration services for Department of Defense (DoD) networks
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Must possess at least one of the following certifications; certification(s) must be active (not expired):
    • CompTIA A+
    • CompTIA Network+
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
    • CompTIA Security+
    • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • Experience programming, configuring, and troubleshooting network devices
  • Proficient at resolving data transport errors and anomalies
  • At least two years of hands-on experience at the administrator/privileged access/integrator level with four or more of the following:
    • iDirect modems
    • PacStar routers
    • Cisco switches
    • DTech routers
    • Encryption devices such as the KG-250X
    • Ruggedized computing systems such as Panasonic's FZ-55 and CF-33
    • Cradlepoint WiFi routers
  • Administrator or software integrator level experience with Windows 10/11 operating systems
  • Experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting satellite communications equipment
  • Hands-on experience performing credentialed and un-credentialed vulnerability scanning of DoD computing and networking equipment
  • Hands-on experience installing and configuring Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Experience conducting and/or developing training in compliance with military standards


Desired Skills

  • Candidates who have held USMC MOS 2651 will be given preference in hiring
  • Previous, hands-on technical experience with the HBSI-PT, SCIK, and/or SCI Comms Mobility Pack


Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL



Travel Requirements

  • Limited travel - eight to ten business days each calendar year
  • Travel is typically of short duration (1-3 days each trip)
