CONVERSION PACKER - 3pm-11pm shift

TITLE: Conversion Packer C

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Efficiently and accurately packaging converted products according to specifications, ensuring proper labeling, and maintaining quality standards throughout the packaging process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Legal eligibility to work in the US.
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred with knowledge of production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing our return on investment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of personnel
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude for machines used in the production process.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complies with, monitors, and enforces all written and verbal safety regulations and programs of the plant and department.
• Understand and adhere to plant policies and procedures, encompassing good manufacturing policy, hazard analysis, and critical control points processes.
• Retrieve completed products from the production line and package them into boxes where you will then record the weight.
• Prepare packaging for finished product by labeling with quality and date stamps.
• Inspect final product using back checks, ensuring proper documentation and timely communication of any issues.
• Demonstrate the capability to maintain pace with the production process and achieve daily production targets while also ensuring cleanliness in the designated area.
• Other duties as assigned.
