Genesis10 is currently seeking a Model Enablement Software Engineer with our client in the financial Industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Develop and support application solutions using Python and Spark Leverage OpenShift and Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment Implement automated builds and deployments using Source-to-Image (S2I), BuildConfigs, and ImageStreams Manage and monitor OpenShift core components such as Master Nodes, Worker Nodes, Pods, and Routes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Security Context Constraints (SCCs), and Network Policies Build CI/CD pipelines for consistent and secure deployments Support cloud-based integrations and operations (GCP, AWS, or Azure preferred) Maintain documentation and provide knowledge-sharing on container lifecycle, pod management, and resource scaling Partner with stakeholders to ensure all solutions meet security, compliance, and lifecycle governance standards Required Qualifications: 4+ years of software engineering or application development experience Strong hands-on experience with Python, OpenShift, and Kubernetes Proficiency in Spark for distributed data processing Experience with cloud platforms and containerized deployments Understanding of OpenShift Projects vs. Namespaces and associated security implications Familiarity with Kubernetes Deployments and OpenShift DeploymentConfigs Knowledge of Source-to-Image (S2I) processes and automated image builds Expertise in applying OpenShift's built-in security features including RBAC, SCCs, and image scanning Pay Range: $ 60 - 70 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
