Job Summary:

As a Clinical Supervisor within Allina Health's Mental Health and Addiction Service Line, you will be at the forefront of innovation and healing. Our programs blend compassionate care with evidence-based treatment, and your role will be instrumental in leading a dedicated team of therapists, psychologists, and support staff to ensure high-quality, accessible care for patients navigating mental health and substance use challenges.

Key Position Details:

You'll join a strong, collaborative team of co-supervisors and operational leaders who are passionate about transforming behavioral health care. In this dyad leadership model, you will partner closely with an Operations Manager and the primary psychiatry provider to co-lead and align strategy, clinical excellence, and operational outcomes.

Your team:

  • Provide daily clinical and administrative supervision to a small but growing team who support patients enrolled in 4 intermediate level care group based programs (currently 5 direct reports + 2 indirect)

  • Help shape adolescent programming while also supporting established adult services

  • Partner with community stakeholders to expand outreach and access

  • Represent the program in system-wide leadership meetings, including monthly gatherings at alternative locations across the Mental Health & Addiction service line

Your role:

  • Provide both clinical oversight and direct patient care, balancing leadership responsibilities with meaningful engagement in therapy services.

  • Advance initiatives around care coordination, patient access, digital health strategies, and team recruitment.

  • Champion community outreach and program development to expand our footprint and improve census levels.

  • Lead your team with a whole-person mindset, supported by a strong network of behavioral health leaders across the Allina system.

Job Description:

Licensing & Qualifications

To be considered for this leadership opportunity, you must have:

  • A valid LADC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor), AND one of the following: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) - MN Board of Social WorkOR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) - MN Board of Behavioral Health & TherapyOR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) - MN Board of Marriage and Family Therapy

  • Previous leadership experience preferred (project leadership, peer mentorship, or team lead roles are sufficient).

  • A passion for both adolescent and adult behavioral health, and a desire to work across service lines to provide comprehensive care.

  • Master's degree in mental health therapy or related field

  • 3+ years in mental health and addiction services

  • 2+ years in leadership

Physical Demands

  • Medium Work*:

  • Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequently

Pay Range

Pay Range: $40.37 to $55.85 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
