You have an opportunity to work with leading edge technologies, such as multiplex immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence, messenger RNA in situ hybridization, digital pathology and more.

The Opportunity:

* Identify various tissue types and basic histology.

* Perform microscopic evaluation of glass slides to screen tissue samples

* Interprets IHC markers and probes and provides readings to scientists on the project.
* Performs qualification of tissues for use development studies
* Evaluates slides for stability and surveillance team
* Reviews and provides input to manufacturing documents
* Represents function in project team meetings
* Follows company policies and procedures for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Design Control and others as appropriate

Who You Are:

* You have a Master's degree with 5+ years, or Bachelors with 8 years relevant experience.

* You have strong knowledge of histology and basic tissue staining principles.
* You are proficient at Microsoft Office, and use of email; skilled with use of word processing,
spreadsheets, graphical and presentation software applications

* You have the ability to demonstrate technical proficiency, scientific creativity, collaboration with others and independent thought.
* You are able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine
appropriate action.

Preferred:

* You have medical histology laboratory experience
* You have NAACLS accredited Histotechnology program HT or HTL (ASCP) certification

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tucson, AZ is 121,500-225,700 Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
