Wetland/Permitting Specialist - Environmental Scientist
Job Description Dewberry is currently seeking a Wetland/Permitting Specialist to join our NE environmental group. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the identification and delineation of wetlands using N.J. Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) regulatory guidance manuals and have experience in the preparation of permit applications required by these agencies, including General/Nationwide/Individual Wetland Permits, Pinelands and Highlands and Coastal Wetland Permits, including Waterfront Development and CAFRA permits. The position requires 8 to 10 years of experience and the ability to prepare ecological assessments, perform threatened and endangered species surveys, and be familiar with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Ecological Risk Assessment procedures.
