Director of Software Delivery Category: Information Technology Employment Type: Direct Hire Reference: BH-385273-1 Sr. Manager of Software Delivery-Remote U.S. - Eastern/Central Time Zones preferred About the Role: We're looking for a highly motivated Sr. Manager of Software Delivery to lead a small, high-impact development team in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. This is a hands-on leadership role - approximately 60% people and delivery management, 40% active development - focused on building production-ready software in collaboration with the Chief Architect. This role is ideal for someone coming from a non-enterprise background who thrives in fast-moving, unstructured settings where decisions are made quickly and engineering leaders stay close to the code. What You'll Do: Lead and mentor a team of 12-13 engineers and QA professionals, including two offshore teams in India (with future expansion to South America) Collaborate with the Chief Architect to design and build scalable production software Own day-to-day Agile/Scrum execution, velocity tracking, delivery forecasting, and risk mitigation Write and review code (approximately 40% of the time) and drive technical decision-making Ensure quality through modern CI/CD, QA, and test automation practices Foster a team culture focused on delivery speed, ownership, and clean architecture Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a hands-on engineering leader in a high-velocity, product-led environment, non-enterprise environment Proficiency in React Native, C#, and AWS - must be current and hands-on Experience leading Agile teams (Scrum), ideally across distributed time zones Comfortable in lean, growing organizations - ideally startups or small-to-mid SaaS firms Strong communication, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration skills High-impact opportunity with room to shape the future of software delivery.
