For Danfoss Climate Solutions, Turbocor compressors division, we are looking for a motivated and results-oriented PMO (Project Management Office) manager-NPD to lead our NPD project managers at our facility in Tallahassee, Florida

In this role, you are responsible for driving excellence in project execution and governance for new product development. This role ensures that projects align with strategic business objectives, are delivered on time with quality and within budget, and follow standardized processes. The PMO Manger collaborates with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and key stakeholders to enhance project efficiency, improve project cycle times, and optimize resource allocation.

Job Responsibilities

People Management & Leadership:
* Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, enhancing their skills, performance, and engagement.
* Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for the NPD PMO team.
* Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations and career development discussions with team members.
* Lead the NPD project portfolio governance process, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic priorities.
* Monitor project health, risks, and resource utilization, ensuring corrective actions are taken proactively.
PMO Process Development & Improvement:
* Develop, standardize and simplify project execution processes to reduce cycle time and improve efficiency.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project governance and cross-functional collaboration.
* Drive the adoption of digital tools and dashboards for real-time project tracking and reporting.
Project Execution & Governance:
* Ensure NPD projects meet quality, schedule, cost and performance goals while maintaining process compliance.
* Define KPIs to measure project success and oversee execution.
* Lead the NPD project execution when necessary.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
* Collaborate with engineering, product management, marketing, Quality, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and leadership teams to ensure seamless project execution.
* Facilitate regular project status reviews and executive-level reporting.

Background & Skills

Qualifications & Skills:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or related field; PMP certification preferred.

Experience:
* 8+ years in project/program management, preferably in NPD, engineering, or manufacturing industries.
* 2+ years of people management experience, leading project management teams.

Skills:
* Strong leadership and team development skills.
* Expertise in project portfolio management and governance.
* Knowledge of Agile, Stage-Gate project management methodologies.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, etc.).
