Position: People Partner

Location: Indianapolis, IN

We are looking for a people partner to join our team to provide HR support to our employees and leaders and help drive the evolution of our people processes and programs.

In order to be successful in this role, you should have the following skills:

    Fly High and Dive Deep: This role is a blend of both tactical and strategic responsibilities. To be successful, you will need a keen eye for details to manage HR processes, while also being able to drive larger scale projects designed to improve the employee experience at American Structurepoint.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with American Structurepoint leaders to leverage people practices and processes to support the achievement of business objectives.
  • Act as a trusted partner and subject matter expert across a variety of HR functions, including performance management, regulatory compliance, organizational development, and compensation and benefits.
  • Drive performance management across the company, including employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Assist with managing and administering Family Medical Leave (FMLA) and Workers' Compensation.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain and complete federal reporting as required (OSHA, AAP, EEO-1, etc.).
  • Support immigration and visa sponsorship requirements as needed.
  • Produce tools, guides, and processes that enable higher levels of performance for various disciplines within the organization.
  • Lead HR projects and initiatives designed to improve the employee experience and support the organization's continued growth and scaling.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior generalist or HRBP role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to look ahead to spot future needs.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge and understanding of performance management, employee relations, and employment law.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with all business partners in a distributed environment.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to influence others.
  • Proven ability to drive people projects that have a measurable impact on efficiency, scalability, and employee engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP
  • Masters degree in business, human resources, or related field.
  • Experience with UKG Pro and Predictive Index
