Join us as our new Senior Project Manager!

The Senior Project Manager will manage capital projects to include planning and follow-up on project deliverables, schedule, scope, budget development, safety, staffing, design, procurement, installation, start-up, and project handover.

Senior Project Manager will work onsite at our Franklinton, NC manufacturing facility.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

• Directly manage capital projects to include planning and follow-up on project deliverables, schedule, scope, budget development, safety, staffing, design, procurement, installation, start-up, and project handover.
• Ensure that capital projects are planned and executed according to the Novonesis project model and handbook.
• Establish and lead effective cross functional project teams.
• Collaborate with line of business User Manager to assure that user requirements are effectively transformed into project solutions ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements and Novonesis standard best practices.
• Select, supervise, and coordinate the use of external engineering firms, consultants, suppliers, and contractors required for project activities and assure their work conforms to project requirements.
• Collaborate with corporate, regional, and local sourcing departments to obtain the most cost-effective project solution that meets user requirements.
• Prepare regular oral and written reports of capital project progress and status. Maintain the appropriate flow of information and communication to project steering committees and other stakeholders.
• Perform project reviews for other departmental project managers prior to critical project milestones on their projects.
• Collaborate with Novonesis Supply Engineering on a regional level for capital project administration, development, and execution.
• Ensure that all project activities comply with corporate and local purchasing policies for the procurement of goods and services.
• Support the Novonesis Environmental policy and EQS; assure that the environmental impact of changes to processes, equipment and materials is assessed prior to implementation.
• Ensure project documentation (e.g. as-build drawings, equipment documentation, local regulatory documentation, maintenance documentation) is updated at handover of project, and stored according to local guidelines, accessible and searchable in the future.

To succeed you must hold:

• B.S. in an engineering discipline or strongly related field with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Experience in construction of various technical objectives in manufacturing environments.
• Experience of a minimum of 7+ years with Project Management demonstrating skills in schedule, scope and budget management.
• High degree of leadership to set direction in the project and develop a cohesive team to achieve results.
• Demonstrated success in a number of areas:
• Proven successful performance and experience must be demonstrated in the management of capital investment projects in a processing industry.
• Ability to lead cross functional teams and collaborate locally and globally within the company, and with external companies.
• Experience with FIDIC contracts is a plus.
• Good analytical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in local and global cross-functional environment.
• May require travel up to 15%. Willingness to support international projects is a plus.

Expected salary range: $120,000-- $150,000 base + bonus

Regular entry into the production facility requires Personal Protective Equipment to be worn at all times. This includes a lab coat, hair/beard net, safety glasses, steel toed boots and gloves. This position requires a valid driver's license and good driving record.

Employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
