The Post Award Grant Manager reports to the Associate Dean for Research and functions in a largely independent manner day-to-day. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure all grant and contract funding is expended according to the terms of the grant award or contract. The position is responsible for the collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of the quantitative information.
The Post Award Grant Manager assists with post-award grant support and administration for faculty and students engaged in a broad range of research and workforce training projects. This position may also assist with pre-award activities. This diverse portfolio predominantly includes projects funded by extramural grants and contracts from federal, foundation, and state funding sources. The support provided is partly programmatic: strategic planning for growth in research programs and research culture, development of interdisciplinary scientific and clinical research projects, and graduate research training program development, etc.
The Grants Manager serves as a liaison between the College of Business, faculty members and departments, and Office of Research offices responsible for post-award grant administration, including the Offices of Research Administration, Research Integrity and Compliance, and Compliance Monitoring & Strategic Initiatives, as well as other
ECU offices of budgetary and fiscal management. |
