Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced patient marketer to lead and evolve the FILSPARI Patient Ambassador program and lead the evolution of the disease state programs. This role will lead and execute innovative marketing initiatives in support of FILSPARI, our flagship product, in IgA Nephropathy and in anticipation of the potential second indication in FSGS. Responsibilities for this role include leading the Patient Ambassador Program and developing patient-focused assets and programs across strategic channels including digital, social media and CRM, as aligned with the brand strategy and tactical plan. The position will focus on driving the on-going adoption of FILSPARI through the development, implementation, and optimization of multichannel marketing activities to ensure the FILSPARI brand continues to reach and engage patients, care partners and caregivers, HCPs and other stakeholders.

The preferred applicant will also work cross-functionally across the organization to create and deploy community-focused initiatives to educate patients and build disease state awareness for IgAN and potentially FSGS. The applicant should have experience supporting pharmaceutical brands through tactical design and pull-through. The ideal candidate should have a general understanding of disease state and brand development with relevant experience in Patient-focused marketing including developing tactical plans aligned with brand strategy.

Responsibilities:

* Lead and evolve the FILSPARI Patient Ambassador program to support key company priorities that amplify patient and caregiver stories across channels and cross-functional initiatives.
* Organize ambassador-led education initiatives, such as speaker events, webinars, social media campaigns, and panel discussions.
* Lead creation of video assets for inclusion across promotional channels to better communicate the FILSPARI patient experience, in support of Patient/HCP engagement.
* Support local and regional engagement opportunities for ambassadors to engage directly with the community to deliver education and materials as needed for events.
* Ensure that the product positioning, branding and messaging are integrated throughout all channel communications.
* Serve as point of contact for disease state activities and direct day-to-day activities of Agency of Record and affiliated digital media agencies.
* Engage and support the management of Agency of Record to execute relevant projects and ensure deliverables are within budget and achieve commercial objectives.
* Self-starter with strong project management skills and experience working in a Pharma-regulated environment including PRC engagement and management.
* Ensure collaboration and work cross-functionally by partnering with Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial Analytics Market Access, Patient Advocacy and Patient Services to drive key cross-functional strategic initiatives.

Education/Experience Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business or relevant Life Sciences discipline. Advanced degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered.
* Minimum of 7+ years of relevant work experience.
* Minimum of 3+ years' related marketing / customer engagement experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry, or related agency experience with demonstrated advancement in roles and scope.

* Strong curiosity and willingness to learn quickly and roll up their sleeves
* Commercial experience, with demonstrated success in marketing across Patient and HCP, sales, or sales support roles.
* Rooted experience in inline pharma marketing (as opposed to Life Sciences and Diagnostics experience) and pharma launch activities highly preferred.
* Proven track record of cross-functional leadership, partnership and execution (particularly experience managing PRC).
* Ability to work in a small company, evolving, fast-paced environment on both a strategic and tactical level; Demonstrated learning agility and rapid data-informed decision making.
* Display ability to gain buy-in and strategic alignment among various stakeholders.
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required; Strong analytical skills.
* Ability to adapt to modification and changes to project plans, demonstrating flexibility to implement new strategies and tactics to accommodate these changes.
* Ability to travel up to 30% domestically.
* All positions have an essential job function to be able to perform face to face work with colleagues and/or onsite in San Diego. No role is expected to be 100% remote.

Compensation: Our competitive compensation package includes a combination of both cash compensation (base pay and short-term incentive) and long-term incentive compensation (company stock), designed to recognize, retain, and reward employees.

Target Base Pay Range:

$128,000.00 - $165,000.00
