Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Technical Architect who will be catering to North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer - Technology Architect to design and implement innovative solutions leveraging API and ABAP development for SAP HANA. This role is central to enhancing system performance and driving digital transformation across Sales Planning & Execution and Finance & Accounting functions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that align with business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust SAP HANA solutions using ABAP and API technologies to meet evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to optimize processes in Sales Planning & Execution and Finance & Accounting.
  • Analyze existing systems and recommend enhancements to improve performance, usability, and integration.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for system architecture and development workflows.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance system capabilities and business outcomes.
  • Conduct system audits to ensure compliance with security protocols and industry standards.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions to upskill teams on new technologies and system functionalities.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration of new technologies with existing systems, maintaining compatibility and scalability.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in system architecture and development methodologies.
  • Align technology initiatives with strategic business objectives to maximize value and impact.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in API and ABAP development for SAP HANA, with a deep understanding of system architecture and design.
  • Strong domain knowledge in Sales Planning & Execution and Finance & Accounting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system optimization.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to drive innovation.
  • Track record of delivering technology-driven business solutions that improve efficiency and performance.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $112,500 - $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
