Milieu Managers work to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for staff and patients through auditing and hands on training with designated staff and patients by utilizing a comprehensive skill set to engage with interdisciplinary teams to improve milieu management and the patient environment of care. They will engage in video audits and facilitating debriefs with employees following major incidents, reporting to leadership and risk management major incidents and completing assigned documentation. Safety is a focus of this role requiring leadership rounding and auditing. It is necessary that the milieu manager completes assigned documentation following major events including event reports and root cause analysis reports. They will work with Director of Milieu Management to complete designee tasks as assigned. Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an inpatient/outpatient psychiatric/mental health setting with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques, demonstrated understanding of mental illness and related behavioral management techniques required. Minimum of two years of supervision required. Experience in the development of therapeutic programs targeted for special population preferred. EEO Statement |
