KPMG is currently seeking a Director in Internal Audit &Enterprise Risk for our Consulting practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive and lead the day-to-day execution ofAdvisory Engagements (internal audit engagements, operational assessments, Sarbanes-Oxleyassistance, risk assessments,) for clients within the industrial manufacturingor technology industries, including activities such as; Design and developmentof risk assessments, annual audit plans, audit programs, working papers,internal audit reports, and other deliverables based on the specific engagementrequirements
  • Identify and clearly communicate performanceimprovement opportunities and leading practices to client personnel and seniormanagement and work with partners to assist in practice management includingresource allocation, career development of staff, and other administrationdecisions
  • Establish your internal audit knowledge throughsharing and participation in the continual development and publication ofthought leadership and service offerings
  • Identify new business opportunities, participatein firm go-to-market activities, and contribute to the development of proposals
  • Assemble and direct large and small teams todeliver high quality work product for clients of all sizes, backgrounds andindustries
  • Effectively communicate the value propositionsof various Firm services, thought leadership and emerging risk(s) to clients,and be recognized and respected by clients as a knowledgeable valuedprofessional
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in in BigFour Professional Services firms, Assurance, controls and / or corporatecompliance-related experience, including consulting, internal auditing, IPOexperience, risk management, or operational roles within the industrialmanufacturing or technology industries.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accreditedcollege/university in an appropriate field and CPA, CIA or CISA preferred
  • Advanced problem solving and analytical skillswith proven ability to use data effectively identify and resolve issues
  • Demonstrated ability to identify businessopportunities, lead project engagements, attract new business, and buildlasting professional relationships with senior client executives
  • Advanced risk, controls, accounting and / orinformation technology operations knowledge, as well as command of GenerallyAccepted Accounting Principles, SOX, Committee of Sponsoring Organizationsand/or Control Objectives for Information and related Technology controlframework
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. withoutthe need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
