Analyze and troubleshoot software problems and provide solutions using Java and related technologies; migrate billing platform from mainframe-based to open-systems based solution to reduce MIPS and computing cost; design and document business and technical specifications for bill formatting interfaces for both upstream and downstream applications that include both batch and online interactions; work on requirements, provide design and deliver solutions to support Bill Formatting platform; work with Product and Business teams to understand initiative and business requirements; collaborate with product owners in converting business asks into user stories; identify technical improvements and take the initiative to propose possible technical solutions; deliver new pricing structures and plans for Consumer and B2B customers; develop, test, maintain, and support applications to meet the requirements of business and clients; identify gaps in the target billing solution features and propose a technical solution to integrate with vendor products; finalize a formatting solution by working with COTS billing system to integrate the new billed data feed to the homegrown standard formatting solution; provide real-time bill generation; provide recommendations for application and system improvements; perform quality assurance testing for applications; prepare required documentation; coordinate with offshore and onsite teams in software development life cycle.

Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or in a related field, and 4 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include the following:

• 4 years in software development using Java technology frameworks including Struts, Spring, Junit, JDBC, JPA, and Hibernate
• 4 years in developing standalone multi-threaded applications;
• 4 years in building API using REST and SOAP and consuming third-party REST/SOAP web services;
• 4 years in Algorithms, SQL;
• 4 years with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JSTL, JavaScript, jQuery, and JSON; and
• 2 years with Spring Integration Framework, Oracle, and Cloud Native Applications - public or private Cloud deployment.
