What you'll be doing...Build machine learning models including supervised, unsupervised and natural language processing; work with linear and logistic regression, and classification using Knn, Clustering, Bagging, Boosting and other machine learning techniques; use Jupyter notebooks, Python ML libraries, Spark distributed data processing and other open source tools; test and evaluate model results and performance using various scores such as F1, ROC, AUC, Gini Index, Log loss scores etc.; perform model deployment, integrate model results into Systems of Engagement; use and build integrations with Flask, CICD, Python, UNIX shell scripting and other standard deployment tools; perform integration testing to prove models were appropriately executed, results stored, actions triggered; interface with other applications, and understand protocols and execute on design; responsible for platform build, including Kubernetes based containerized platform using AI processor; design and build dedicated edge nodes using Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, PySpark, and SQL; oversee the implementation of North Star architectural components; analyze data to find out trends in the data such as descriptive statistical analysis to find the distribution of central tendency and spot outliers; identify data sources for proving/disproving hypothesis for AI/ML use-cases; collaborate with teams to write SQL queries to pull data; manage communication and be the single point of contact for the team on certain responsibilities; manage security of the infrastructure on which the ML models run. What we're looking for...Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Computer Science, Geospatial Information Sciences, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a software or system engineer, insights analyst, business/financial data analyst, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 2 years with data analysis, predictive modelling or predictive analysis, and using data modeling and programming languages including Python, R, SQL, and AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) technologies such as RNN (Recurrent Neural Network), CNN (Convolutional Neural Networks) and LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory Network). In lieu of a Master's degree and 2 years of experience, employer will accept a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in the fields stated above degree and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the skill sets stated above. Experience therein to include 1 year with exploratory data analysis, data mining or collecting, and data visualization; and 6 months in developing queries to collect data from multiple databases and create a centralized data warehouse in SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
