Meet the Team

Tight knit team covering all quality operations for Luxtera product manufacturing in Carlsbad CA as well as internationally in Thailand and Taiwan and other partner locations. Encouraging proactive engagement with all Luxtera cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality production and rapid customer support.

Your Impact
  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process, and final products.
  • Read prints and drawings to determine critical measurements.
  • Understand procedures and apply accept/reject criteria to the inspection results.
  • Identify and document defects or deviations from specifications.
  • Prepare inspection reports and communicate findings to relevant teams.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspection results and findings.
  • Generate NCMR for nonconforming material including reporting, tracking and communicating to relevant teams.
  • Take particle counts in Cleanroom and other areas.
  • Work with production, engineering and management to communicate issues that arise during inspection.
  • Adherence to company standards and industry regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 1+year of experienced in using Optical Microscope, Digital Microscope, CMM and other tools used for inspection.
  • Experienced in FAI (First Article Inspection) and AQL sampling plans.
  • High school diploma.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially in Excel).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience at performing incoming inspection (IQA) on raw materials (wafers, pcb/pcba, components, mechanical parts, etc.) and outgoing inspection (OQA) on completed assemblies (modules).
  • 2+ years in a high-tech environment.
  • Able to understand instructions and follow direction with minimal supervision.
  • Associate degree.
  • Certified in IPC.
