Intern - Technician Helper - Miami, FL

HEICO Component Repair Group, a global leader in the overhaul and repair of aircraft components, is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates with a mechanical interest to gain hands-on experience in the aerospace industry while working alongside experienced technicians in a real-world FAA-regulated environment.

As an Intern Technician Helper, you will assist certified technicians in the, disassembly, cleaning, assembly, and testing of aircraft components. You will learn how to work with industry-standard tools and equipment, follow technical manuals and shop instructions, and observe FAA-compliant procedures.

Your responsibilities will also include preparing parts for repair, organizing tools and workstations, supporting documentation processes, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will be mentored by experienced professionals and gain valuable exposure to a variety of mechanical systems used in commercial aviation.

Skills and Education Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a technical, vocational, or aerospace program preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and work under close supervision
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Basic understanding of tools and mechanical systems is a plus
• Commitment to safety, punctuality, and teamwork
