Position: Lead C++ Developer
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid 3 Days onsite in every week) Duration: 12 Months Job Description: Project Overview: The Asset & Market Data Team is in need of a C++ Engineer to join our department. The AMD team creates and supports fintech services that support complex needs of the most sophisticated clients in the world. While our team leverages several best-in-class partners for specific services, all financial instruments and associated trading and event management are recorded within a single system of record which allows for unparalleled transparencies and efficiencies. To continue to keep pace with financial market innovation and sophisticated client demands, the AMD team is expanding. * Contractors Role: C++ Engineer * Experience Level: Senior Qualifications, Key Knowledge and Skills (must haves): * Strong proficiency in C++ with minimum 5 to 10+ years of experience * Experience with Multi-threading and Socket Programming * Experience with Unix Based OS * Experience with server programming (no UI experience is required) * Nice to have: Python skills * Multi-threaded code Debugging capabilities * Researching and innovating * Tasks and Responsibilities: * Code C++, debug, research * Responsible for collaborating with business stakeholders * Writing quality, accurate, testable code along with the right architecture * Work with a geographically dispersed team to effectively translate requirements into solutions * Seamlessly interface with business partners and technical staff * Developing applications with a passion for growing skills * Solving complex and challenging problems | |
