As we continue to elevate operational performance and customer value, we are seeking a results-driven Director of Business Process Excellence (BPE) to lead continuous improvement initiatives across our North American Contract Logistics operations. YOUR ROLE

As the Director of Business Process Excellence - North America Contract Logistics, you will lead the BPE team in driving operational excellence through structured process improvement, value stream optimization, and capability building across CEVA's U.S. and Canadian warehouse network.

Reporting to the Head of Operational Excellence for North America, you will collaborate closely with Regional Operations Vice Presidents and Site Leaders to identify cost savings, elevate performance on CEVA's internal Site Certification Assessment, and grow a network of trained BPE Champions across the region. This role is key to advancing CEVA's culture of lean thinking, standardization, and sustainable performance improvement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Strategic Leadership of Business Process Excellence (BPE)



  • Lead the regional BPE team in supporting CEVA's Contract Logistics operations through structured process improvement and lean deployment.
  • Develop annual BPE goals aligned with North America Operations objectives and CEVA's global continuous improvement strategy.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to each Regional Operations Vice President to identify focus areas for improvement and cost savings.


Cost Reduction & Value Stream Optimization



  • Drive measurable cost savings by facilitating Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen events, and structured root cause problem-solving at site and regional levels.
  • Monitor implementation and sustainment of action plans resulting from lean events and transformation projects.
  • Standardize best practices across sites and regions to scale impact.


Site Performance & Certification Readiness



  • Support site leadership teams in preparing for and improving performance on CEVA's internal Site Certification Assessment.
  • Lead gap assessments and action planning to improve scores across safety, quality, productivity, inventory, people, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with functional leaders (HR, HSE, Quality, Engineering) to align on sustainable operational standards.


Talent Development & Lean Capability Building



  • Identify, train, and mentor BPE Champions at operational sites to build grassroots lean capability.
  • Deliver BPE training programs and workshops focused on lean tools, standard work, and continuous improvement mindsets.
  • Build a regional network of trained BPE practitioners to accelerate transformation and problem-solving.


Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting



  • Provide regular updates to regional and executive leadership on BPE impact, including KPIs, project pipelines, cost savings, and certification performance.
  • Collaborate with HR, Operations, Finance, and Quality to align improvement initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Represent North America in global BPE forums and share local successes and learnings.



WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education & Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in operational excellence, lean transformation, or logistics operations.
  • Proven track record of implementing lean tools and driving measurable performance improvement in warehouse or distribution environments.
  • Experience in a 3PL or contract logistics setting strongly preferred.


Skills & Competencies



  • Deep knowledge of lean tools and principles, including VSM, Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, A3 problem solving, and TPM.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to facilitate cross-functional improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
  • Data-driven and outcome-oriented mindset with strong financial and operational acumen.


Leadership & Change Management



  • Inspirational team leader with a collaborative and hands-on approach.
  • Strong coaching skills with a focus on developing others.
  • Ability to lead change initiatives in a fast-paced, decentralized operational environment.

Remote with up to 50-60% travel across North American warehouse operations
