Mortgage Operations Representative

Description

Transitions applications from sales to processing, ensuring a smooth handoff and exceptional member service. Processes initial loan documents by completing tasks associated with the loan, assigning files to processors, and coordinating member communications.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:



  • Receives loan files, identifies needed services, and reviews included
  • Reviews loan file documentation against requirements to ensure compliance. Requests missing items as needed from members or Mortgage Loan Originator.
  • Orders, receives, and uploads services and documents.
  • Responds to member communications via phone, email, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
  • Communicates with loan officers, processors, and members.
  • Assigns loan files to mortgage workgroup personnel.
  • Completes all changed circumstance redisclosures for rate lock and loan changes to ensure compliance



Qualifications:



  • An Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in a mortgage lending department.
  • One-year financial institution experience
