Who we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with strong time management, organization, good work ethic and flexibility. In this role you will support our customers and deliver outstanding service in representing our Loan Originators, Management and Operations Team members.

What you'll do:

Success in this job relies on your time management skills, organization, and positive attitude. In addition, you'll need to be able to:

Assist with pipeline management, including adherence to compliance requirements, as needed



  • Collaborate with upper management and Regional President to identify employee developmental/training needs and develop programs/initiative to meet those needs to enhance performance, morale, and employee engagement while reflecting the organizations core values
  • Develop and conduct training sessions related to the implementation of system enhancements, procedural changes, significant program changes, new software applications, workflow and compliance requirements including time efficient ways to carry out a process
  • Facilitate coverage for operations staff during an absence
  • Provide ongoing constructive feedback
  • Keep manager informed of ongoing areas of need and work with them to identifying solutions and improvements
  • Capacity management
  • Supervise the Mortgage Operations to include loan boarding, processing, and quality control elements
  • Help train manage acceptability and efficiency of process with mortgage operations, and implements changes as appropriate
  • Ensure staff is properly trained and knowledgeable within area of responsibility. Coaches employees and prepares performance reviews, to include goal setting
  • Support management of loan pipelines oat both the individual and global level to insure turn time SLA's are met and timely loan closings
  • Actively promotes teamwork by working closely with all mortgage department managers to ensure support and consistent communication of current/new policies, procedures, lending guidelines and service objectives
  • Demonstrates good analytical skills, judgement and decision-making in all aspects of mortgage lending
  • Provide back-up assistance to all of the mortgage processing team as needed to provide exceptional service


What you'll need to be successful:



  • Great judgment and decision-making ability
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards


  • Strong Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, FHLMC guidelines
  • Strong Foundation in mortgage lending
  • Previous Processing Team Lead, Supervision or Manager experience
  • Highly Proficient in time management, organization, planning and prioritization
  • Must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and action-focused
  • Strong ability to conduct research and provide input on best practices
  • Working knowledge and understanding of different learning styles with an ability to create and deliver training methods that can appeal to broad audiences
  • A teamwork and growth mindset with willingness to mentor
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Effective business communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Ability to be flexible to assist with additional projects that are introduced based on the needs of the company
  • Team player who enjoys collaborative work as well as individual responsibilities
  • Proficient computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)


  • Ability to think creatively and meet challenges with resourcefulness
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build peer and/or team cohesiveness
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to apply a commonsense approach to issue resolution
  • Must be able to work overtime to the extent necessary
